Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 2026

FortifiedWall LLC ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use fortifiedwall.com ("Site"), the Digital Estate Planning portal ("Portal"), and our services (Digital Estate Planning, Practical Cybersecurity Speaking, and Cybersecurity Consultation). Our product Is This A Scam? has its own privacy policy at isthisascam.email.

1. Information We Collect

Contact form. When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. We use this to respond to your inquiry and, if applicable, to follow up about our services.

Portal account information. If you create a Portal account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a cryptographic hash; we never store your password in plain text). We may also collect profile details you choose to provide.

Portal data you store. The Portal allows you to store information including: digital asset inventories (account names, URLs, credentials, notes); authorized contact and beneficiary information (names, email addresses, phone numbers, relationship); access instructions and trigger conditions; and uploaded documents or files. This data may be highly sensitive. We treat it with the highest level of care as described in this policy and our Terms of Service.

Speaking service. If you engage us for a speaking event, we may collect event organizer contact information, venue details, and booking information as needed to deliver the engagement.

Consultation service. If you book a Cybersecurity Consultation, we collect the contact and scheduling information needed to hold your session, and any information you choose to share with us during the session. Payment for consultations is processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe, through an external payment link. Stripe collects and processes your payment-card details under its own privacy policy; FortifiedWall LLC does not receive or store your full card number. We receive limited transaction information from Stripe (such as confirmation of payment, the amount, and the last four digits of the card) to fulfill your booking and keep our records.

Automatically collected data. Our hosting and infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages visited for security, performance, and operational purposes. If you use the Portal, we also maintain activity logs (such as login times and changes to stored data) for security audit purposes. We do not use automatically collected data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Google Fonts. When you visit our Site, your browser loads fonts from Google (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). This may transmit your IP address to Google. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you.
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Site and Portal.
  • Deliver the Digital Estate Planning service, including storing your data and processing Designated Agent access requests when triggered.
  • Deliver speaking engagements as contracted.
  • Secure your account and detect unauthorized access or abuse.
  • Improve our services and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Hosting and CDN. Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, and security services. Cloudflare may process technical data (IP address, request metadata) as part of delivering these services.
  • Fonts. Google provides web fonts. Your browser may transmit your IP address to Google when loading fonts.
  • Email delivery. We use an internal notification service to deliver contact form submissions and account-related communications.
  • Payment processing. When you pay for a Cybersecurity Consultation, Stripe processes your payment as an independent payment provider. Your payment-card details are handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy; we receive only limited transaction confirmation data.
  • Designated Agents and Authorized Contacts. If you use the Portal and designate individuals to access your stored data, we will share your stored Portal data with those individuals under the conditions you defined, after completing our identity verification procedures. See our Terms of Service (Section 4) for details.
  • Legal compliance. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers. If FortifiedWall LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide advance notice if your personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Lawful Basis for Processing (EEA/UK Visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Consent. When you submit the contact form, you consent to our processing your name, email, and message to respond to your inquiry.
  • Contract performance. When you create a Portal account, we process your data as necessary to provide the Digital Estate Planning service, including storing your data and fulfilling Designated Agent access requests.
  • Legitimate interest. We process technical and security data (IP addresses, activity logs) for the legitimate purposes of operating and securing the Site and Portal, preventing fraud, and improving our services. These interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

5. International Data Transfers

FortifiedWall LLC is based in the United States. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, operates a global network, and your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Cloudflare maintains infrastructure. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and potentially other jurisdictions. We rely on Cloudflare's data processing agreements and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses to provide appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers.
  • Encryption at rest for sensitive Portal vault data (credentials, access instructions).
  • Access controls limiting who can access stored data within our systems.
  • Regular security reviews of our infrastructure and practices.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability.

Breach notification. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users without unreasonable delay, as required by applicable law. Notification will be provided via the email address associated with your account (for Portal users) or through other reasonable means.

7. Data Retention

  • Contact form submissions. Retained as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for legitimate business purposes.
  • Portal account data. Retained while your account is active. After account deletion, we will destroy your stored Portal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain information (such as transaction records or legal holds).
  • Portal audit logs. Retained for up to one year for security purposes.
  • Infrastructure logs. Retained per Cloudflare's data retention policies.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction. Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion. Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Data portability. Request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format (see Section 9).
  • Restriction. Request that we restrict processing of your information in certain circumstances.
  • Objection. Object to our processing of your information based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us or use the relevant settings in the Portal. We will respond within 30 days (or as required by applicable law). We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

9. Data Portability and Export

If you have a Portal account, you can export your stored data (including your digital asset inventory, authorized contact information, and access instructions) in a standard format at any time through the Portal settings. This allows you to maintain your own copy of your data or transfer it to another service.

10. US State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain US states have additional privacy rights under state law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use personal information for targeted advertising based on cross-context behavioral data.

Our Site, Portal, and services are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where required by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top will change when we do.
