- Secure the client’s essential accounts, such as email, the phone company and the Apple or Google Account. Use a password manager, two-step sign-in, recovery paths and updates, and a security key where it fits.
- Write down which accounts the client’s photos, videos, messages and letters are stored in.
- Where they fit, set up the providers’ legacy settings, such as Apple Legacy Contact and Google Inactive Account Manager, and document what each covers.
- Prepare the handoff: printed instructions, and a security key and a locked drive where they fit. Walk through it with the people the client named.
- Set the client up to practice with Is This A Scam?, AI-powered scam detection.
Stays with the firm
- Legal advice, fiduciary designations, estate documents and their interpretation.
- Who holds authority and when.

The client gives permission and then contracts with us directly
- With the client’s permission, you introduce us at intake, signing, delivery or an annual plan review.
- The client contracts with FortifiedWall directly. The readiness assessment comes first.
- With the client’s written consent, you receive completion status: which essential accounts are secured, whether the handoff was walked through, and which steps are not done yet.
Attorney rules on law-related services and confidentiality differ by state. We work inside whatever your jurisdiction requires. We put the scope, consent and data handling in writing before the first client.
