The readiness assessment.
In private, we review where your photos, messages and accounts stand and give you a written plan. You can use the written plan on your own.
A written plan in five parts
We go over your workshop worksheet and how your accounts are set up and help you finish the plan.
- Where you stand today: what you told us, what we saw, and what is not yet checked.
- What to do yourself first.
- What gets you back into your accounts and who does what: a first draft of the handoff to the people you name.
- If you want help, a written list of what we would do and what it would cost.
- A plain recommendation on ongoing care: how to keep the plan current.
The assessment does not change accounts, get you back into one, copy files, or walk through the handoff with your family.
Three ways to go on after the assessment
On your own
The written plan is yours to keep.
With us
We help you secure your accounts, set up the ways back in and the after-death settings, save what you want kept, and walk through the handoff with the people you named. You approve each piece in writing first.
A consultation
For a confusing or high-stakes situation: a one-on-one video call with a person is available. The call gives general guidance. It is not legal, financial or law-enforcement advice, and it is not data recovery. About the consultation
Tell us about your household and your goals.
Use the contact form. Say how many are in your household, whether you have started the worksheet, and what worries you most. We reply by email with details and available times. Nothing is booked or charged until you have the cost in writing and have said yes.
Before you ask
Do you keep my passwords?
No: passwords, PINs, recovery codes and keys stay with you. We never ask for them by email, form or chat, and never store them.
Do I have to buy anything else?
Sometimes. We recommend products and services that align to our values and your needs, such as Is This A Scam? for checking a suspicious message, or a password manager.
What does it cost?
Our reply tells you the cost in writing before anything is booked. Prices are based on the individual needs at the initial assessment.
Is this legal advice?
No. We give advice on your digital life and help set it up. Wills, powers of attorney and who holds legal authority stay with your attorney.
Can you get into an account after a death?
No, and nobody can promise that. Each provider sets its own rules. While you are able, we can set up the tools a provider offers, such as a legacy contact. We can also write down what those tools do not cover.
Where do you work?
We work primarily in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, but we can travel for workshops.
Start with the readiness assessment.
Bring your worksheet even if it is only half finished. You leave with written priorities, steps to take yourself and a written list of any work you want done. The assessment is useful on its own.
Not ready for that? Come to a one-hour workshop first.
